Biography

DianXing Zhu is a Chinese professional boxer competing in the mini-flyweight division. Known for his aggressive style and high knockout rate, Zhu is the current WBO Global mini-flyweight champion and a former WBC Asian Silver light-flyweight champion.

Zhu made his professional debut on January 11, 2019, stopping Bangzhu Meng in the first round. He quickly built a reputation as a heavy puncher, securing multiple early stoppage wins in the Chinese circuit. His first setback came in August 2020 against Fangyong Zhang, where he dropped a close decision in a four-round bout. Zhu rebounded strongly with a streak of knockout victories, earning recognition across Asia.

In 2023, Zhu captured the WBC Asian Silver light-flyweight title, defeating Narathip Sungsut by first-round stoppage and defending it with a tenth-round TKO against unbeaten prospect Shane Gentallan. Later that year, he moved down to mini-flyweight and claimed the vacant WBO Global title by defeating Sanchai Yotboon in Vũng Tàu, Vietnam. He has since defended the belt with knockout victories over Richard Garde, Marco John Rementizo, and Jerry Francisco.
