Biography

Kieron Conway (born 2 May 1996) is an English professional boxer who has held the Commonwealth middleweight title since November 2024 and the British middleweight title since May 2025. Known by his ring nickname “Too Class,” Conway is recognised for his balanced, technical approach, effective jab, and durability across multiple divisions, having competed at both light-middleweight and middleweight levels.

Born in Northampton, England, Conway turned professional in February 2017, defeating Sonny Whiting on points in his debut. He quickly climbed the domestic ranks, claiming his first title - the British Challenge middleweight belt - in 2018 with a seventh-round stoppage of Chris Monaghan. In 2019, he gained national attention with a spirited draw against Ted Cheeseman for the British super-welterweight title, a fight that displayed his composure and counterpunching ability. His performances earned him a promotional contract with Matchroom Boxing under Eddie Hearn later that year.

Conway’s steady progress continued with regional success, capturing the WBA Inter-Continental super-welterweight title in 2020 after a dominant win over Navid Mansouri. He followed up with decisive victories against Macaulay McGowan and Linus Udofia, the latter earning him the WBA Intercontinental title in 2023. In July 2024, Conway showcased his growing international credentials by stopping Ainiwaer Yilixiati in the quarterfinals of Prizefighter 2024 in Osaka, Japan.

Later that year, Conway won the Commonwealth middleweight title via split decision over Ryan Kelly in Birmingham, before adding the British middleweight title in May 2025 by stopping Gerome Warburton in the fourth round at London’s Copper Box Arena.
