Biography
Tobías Jeremías Reyes is an Argentine professional boxer who competes in the flyweight division. Nicknamed “Pitbull” for his aggressive, pressure-heavy style, he has quickly emerged as one of Argentina’s most exciting fighters due to his exceptional knockout power, with the majority of his wins coming inside the distance.
Reyes made his professional debut on September 18, 2021, scoring a first-round stoppage over Franco Iván Meza. Within just two years, he captured multiple regional titles, including the South American flyweight title and the IBF Latino flyweight title, establishing himself as one of the top prospects in Latin America. His rise was marked by explosive performances, often finishing opponents within the first half of bouts.
In December 2024, Reyes faced former IBF world champion Felix Alvarado in an IBF flyweight title eliminator in Managua, Nicaragua. Despite a strong showing, he suffered the first defeat of his career, dropping a close majority decision after twelve rounds. The loss did little to derail his momentum, as he bounced back in May 2025 by winning the vacant WBO Latino flyweight title with a third-round stoppage of Jeanfran Medina in Buenos Aires.
