Kim Clavel will headline in her hometown of Montreal on September 27, when she challenges unbeaten IBF strawweight world champion Sol Cudos at Théâtre Saint-Denis. The bout will top the Most Valuable Prospects 15 card, marking Clavel’s first appearance since signing with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).
Clavel (21-2, 3 KOs), a former WBC light flyweight world champion, enters on a four-fight win streak since losing her belt to Evelin Bermudez in October 2023. Ranked No. 1 by the WBC, IBF, and WBO at 108 lbs, the 34-year-old will step down to the 105 lbs limit for this title opportunity.
Cudos (10-0-2, 3 KOs), of Buenos Aires, will make the first defense of her belt. She captured the vacant title in April by defeating fellow Argentine Maria Sol Baumstarh.
The card also features Canadian standout Tamm Thibeault (3-0, 2 KOs) in the co-main event. Ranked No. 1 by both the IBF and WBA at middleweight, Thibeault continues her rise while completing her master’s degree in England.
