Gorham vs. Vazquez

September 20, 2025 | The Bayou Music Center, Houston, Texas

Network: DAZN

Fight Details

Overtime Boxing returns to Houston’s Bayou Music Center on Friday, September 20, with a stacked seven-fight card headlined by a clash of unbeaten super lightweights. Local star Breyon “G’Time” Gorham (19-0, 15 KOs) will battle Mexico’s Jose “Choche” Vazquez (19-0, 3 KOs) in a ten-round main event for the IBF North America super lightweight title, live on DAZN.

For Gorham, this will be his fifth straight hometown showcase, following a commanding ten-round decision over Luis Feliciano in May. The 24-year-old Houston favorite continues to build momentum as one of OTX’s brightest young faces, with his aggressive style and knockout power making him a must-watch for local fans.

Vazquez, representing Guajajara, Mexico, enters with equal ambition and an unbeaten record of his own. He has already notched two decision victories this year and scored a notable U.S. debut win last October in California. Though not known for his power, Vazquez’s volume and durability could test Gorham in ways few have managed.

The co-main event will feature WBC women’s featherweight champion Tiara Brown (19-0, 11 KOs), who makes the first defense of her world title after upsetting Skye Nicholson in Australia earlier this year. Her opponent is expected to be announced soon.

Giovanni has built a reputation for consistency, racking up four wins per year across the past three years.
