Most Valuable Prospects returns to the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, on Friday, May 9, featuring a 10-round heavyweight main event between two 25-year-olds: undefeated Cuban Olympian Dainier “The Fear” Pero (10-0, 8 KOs) and Mexico’s Cesar “Chaka” Navarro (13-2, 11 KOs).
The event, promoted by Boxlab Promotions, will stream for free on DAZN.com and the DAZN app, requiring no subscription.
Pero, fighting out of Orlando by way of Camaguey, Cuba, will make his fifth appearance on the Most Valuable Prospects series. He enters this bout on a six-fight TKO streak, most recently stopping Walter Burns in the opening round in December 2024. Across the ring, Navarro, who trains in Phoenix, Arizona, but hails from Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, has recorded nine first-round knockouts in his pro career
The co-main event features an 8-round lightweight clash at 135 pounds between two more unbeaten competitors: Orlando’s Corey “2Smoove” Marksman (10-0-1, 7 KOs) and Huntington Beach’s Tayden “The Butcher” Beltran (10-0-1, 5 KOs). Both aim to preserve their perfect records.
