This Saturday’s fight night included 5 outrageous events, in which Luis "Pantera" Nery (33-1, 25 KOs) and Azat "Crazy A" Hovhannisyan (21-3, 17 KOs) squared off in a 12-round battle in the WBC Super Bantamweight Eliminator, Dylan “Real Dyl” Price (16-0, 10 KOs) faced Jobert Alvarez (20-5-2, 7 KOs) for the WBO NABO bantamweight title, Leigh Wood (26-3, 16 KOs) fought against the powerful Mauricio Lara (26-2, 19 KOs) for the WBA Featherweight World Championship and former world champion Felix Sturm (42-6-3, 18 KOs) fought against Sükrü Altay (15-2, 14 KOs).
As a result of the first event, Azat Hovhannisyan was stopped by Luis Nery in the 11th round. The 28-year-old Nery appeared to be exhausted with Hovhannisyan's pressure and body blows, but he later came back to knock him out with a left hook late in the tenth round. Nery also knocked Hovhannisyan out in the eleventh round after stabbing him with a strong left punch. As a result, the referee intervened and stopped the fight.
In the co-main event, Mario Lozano (33-11, 24 KOs) was defeated by super middleweight Shane Mosley Jr. (19-4, 10 KOs) in a 10-round unanimous decision. Also in the undercard, Jerson Ortiz (17-7, 8 KOs) was successfully knocked out in the second round by Ricardo "El Nio" Sandoval (21-2, 16 KOs), and Rowdy Montgomery (9-4-1, 6 KOs) defeated Christian Olivas (22-9, 19 KOs) of in an eight-round unanimous decision.

In the next event, from the Llevate Event Center in Chester, Pennsylvania, Dylan Price secured his WBO NABO bantamweight title and remained undefeated in a fight with Jobert Alvarez. In the co-main event, Dylan’s brother Devin Price (1-0, 1 KO) defeated Matias Arriagada (6-11, 3 KOs) in the 4-round fight.
In the third one, Leigh "Leigh-thal" Wood, the WBA World Featherweight Champion, was defeated by Mauricio "Bronco" Lara in the seventh round.
Over the first six rounds, Wood dominated the fight and scored some significant blows, but the Mexican caught Wood midway through the seventh with a powerful left hook. Despite wanting to continue, Wood hit the deck, and his corner hurled the towel into the ring.

In the co-main event, British Super Lightweight champion Dalton "Thunder" Smith (14-0, 10 KOs) upset English champion Billy Allington (10-2-4, 0 KOs) by knocking him out after 12 unimpressive rounds.
Smith chased Allington throughout the fight, knocking him down with a left hook in the eighth round, body slamming him in the tenth, and using a variety of roughhouse tactics in irritation at his inability to achieve a knockout. Smith got cut over his left eye in the tenth round and appeared to lose his cool by pushing Allington to the mat with a pro wrestling maneuver. It's unclear why the referee didn't punish him because Allington's head rebounded off the canvas with the wrestling throw.
In the undercard, Gary “The Diva” Cully, (16-0, 10 KOs) stopped Wilfredo “El Bravo Vega” Flores (10-1-1, 5 KOs) at 1:52 of the second round of a scheduled 10 rounds for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental lightweight title, Gamal “The Beas”’ Yafai, (19-3, 11 KOs) was upset losing to Diego “El Profeta” Ruiz (24-6-1, 12 KOs), Cheavon “C4” Clarke (5-0, 4 KOs), defeated Israel Duffus (20-9, 17 KOs) and Sam “Super” Maxwell (17-1, 11 KOs) defeated Shaun “Scorpion” Cooper (13-5, 0 KOs) over 6 rounds.

In the last event of the day at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart, Germany, former two-division world champion Felix Sturm, defeated Sükrü Altay by a majority decision after 10 rounds. In round seven, the 38-year-old Altay pressed the attack and stunned Sturm. Sturm made a strong comeback in round eight and eventually won by scores of 97-95, 96-94, and an absurd 99-91.
In the co-main event, former heavyweight champion Francois "White Buffalo" Botha, 54, carried Porshe AG chairman Uwe Huck, 60, for six rounds until Huck was declared the victor by decision. Botha, who appeared to be in good form, was fighting in the same stadium where he defeated Axel Schulz to claim the vacant IBF championship in 1995. Following that bout, Botha tested positive for steroid use, and the crown was taken away from him.
In the undercard, former WBA super middleweight champion Tyron Zeuge (25-1-1, 15 KOs) knocked out Michal Ryba (12-10-1, 9 KOs) in the first round, Daniel Dietz (8-0, 8 KOs) knocked out Marko Vucevic (5-3, 4 KOs) and Ikram Kerwat (12-3, 5 KOs) won over Nana Dokadze (3-16, 0 KOs) in six rounds.
