Chris Eubank Jr has made no secret of his appetite for blockbuster fights. Speaking ahead of his November rematch with Conor Benn, Eubank said “anything can be made” and named Terence Crawford and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez as opponents he would “love to share the ring with,” arguing he’s “here to fight the big names.” The comments arrived alongside confirmation that he will work with Crawford’s trainer Brian McIntyre for the Benn rematch - a partnership Eubank doesn’t see as a bar to a future meeting with Crawford. “I wouldn't say so,” he reflected when asked if that would be an impediment.
Eubank made clear he views Canelo as a still-massive draw despite the Mexican’s recent loss, calling him “still a superstar” and someone he would welcome in the ring. The interview painted Eubank as a fighter chasing legacy-defining bouts rather than settling for lower-profile assignments. That ambition sits alongside a practical focus: before dreaming of superfights, he must first settle unfinished business with Benn.

On a perhaps more eyebrow-raising note, Eubank even left the door open to a clash with 43-year-old Gennadiy Golovkin if the legendary Kazakhian returned to the ring. “Why not? He's a legend in the sport… If the fans wanted to see a fight like that… absolutely,” Eubank said, indicating he’d be willing to meet any and all high-profile opponents should the opportunity arise.
Despite the eye-catching wish list, Eubank repeatedly returned to the immediate task: the Benn rematch. He vowed to use lessons from their first meeting to improve, make the fight shorter, and “take him out,” insisting he doesn’t want a repeat 12-round war and wants to remove any doubt about who is superior. The unfinished business theme underpins his broader campaign - big names will wait if he must first prove himself again against Benn.
Whether any of these dream fights materialise will hinge on what happens in November.
