Keyshawn Davis anticipates that his upcoming bout against Argentine fighter Gustavo Lemos on November 8th will resemble his last fight against Miguel Madueno, which took place on July 6th. Top Rank’s Davis believes Lemos will bring a similar aggressive style to their 10-round headliner on ESPN+.
In reflecting on the upcoming card, Davis highlighted the talent on display, stating, “The co-main [Brian Norman Jr. vs. Derrieck Cuevas] is a world championship fight. You’ve got Abdullah Mason on the card, and Troy Isley. There’s so much talent on the card. This is the best Top Rank card of the year by far from bottom to top.” Despite his excitement, some fans argue that WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr.'s bout against Cuevas should be the main event, as Norman’s title defense offers higher stakes.
Keyshawn, however, remains confident in his future, expressing, “You can tell who Top Rank is pushing to be the next star. They believe in me. They know I have all the potential, the charisma, and the talent to take them there. I’m here to be Top Rank’s next star.”

In his last fight against Madueno, Davis employed heavy clinching and wrestling tactics, which led some to criticize his performance. Despite this, Davis said fans can expect a similar style from Lemos: “Gustavo [Lemos] is coming to fight... My last fight was action-packed.”
