Lightweight prospect Keyshawn Davis is fired up as he prepares to face Gustavo Lemos in a ten-round clash this Friday, November 8, at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. The fight will air on ESPN+, with Davis confident that he’s set to dominate his opponent.

“Gustavo is about to get messed up,” Davis told Fight Hype, adding that he hand-picked Lemos as a tough challenge for his homecoming fight. The 2020 Olympic silver medalist is eager to put on a show for his fans, saying, “Every time y’all see me fight, y’all are going to love to see me fight.”

Davis, who was initially being matched against 38-year-old Nicholas Walters, is determined to show why Top Rank has been pushing him as a future star. “They believe in me, and I’m here to be Top Rank’s next star,” he stated. His confidence is high, but he’ll need to be at his best, as Lemos brings power and experience into the ring.
