The exhibition bout between Jake Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis has a new home. Most Valuable Promotions confirmed that the event will now take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami on November 14, streamed globally by Netflix. The switch came after Georgia’s Athletic and Entertainment Commission made clear the fight would not be sanctioned in that state.
The relocation mirrors family history: Miami was the site where Logan Paul boxed Floyd Mayweather in 2021. For Jake the contest comes just months after his June decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at 199.5 lbs. Davis last fought in March at 133.75 lbs in a draw with Lamont Roach Jr., leaving nearly 66 lbs between their most recent fight-night scales.
Promotion for the spectacle will include press conferences on September 22 at New York’s Palladium Theatre and on September 23 at the Kaseya Center, both open to the public at 6 pm ET.
The Miami venue, home to the NBA’s Heat, has a capacity of 19,500 and a notable place in boxing history. It hosted Floyd Mayweather’s 2005 win over Henry Bruseles and was the stage for Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao’s famous courtside meeting in 2015 that set their mega-fight in motion. Now, it adds Paul vs. Davis to its unique boxing legacy.
