Jake Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis will meet in an exhibition bout on November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, with the event streaming live on Netflix, as the Florida Athletic Commission has officially sanctioned the matchup as an exhibition, meaning the result will not count toward either fighter’s professional record.
The fight is scheduled for 10 three-minute rounds with both men wearing 12-ounce gloves. Despite its exhibition status, there will be two professional judges and one AI-assisted, scoring the bout. However, their tallies will be purely symbolic, as the outcome will not affect the fighters’ official records.
While the contest will not produce an official win or loss, knockouts and technical knockouts will still be recognized as fight-ending scenarios, following the same standards used in professional contests. The commission emphasized that safety and transparency remain their priorities while promoting the responsible evolution of combat sports in Florida.
The matchup features a significant size gap between the fighters. Paul, who has competed as high as cruiserweight, holds a notable physical advantage over Davis, a natural lightweight who last fought at 135 pounds. The fight was initially planned for Atlanta, but organizers withdrew their licensing request before the Georgia commission could rule, prompting the relocation to Miami.
With the exhibition now confirmed, Netflix will carry the high-profile event live worldwide.
