Fight night in Fortitude Valley delivered a lively Australia vs. Australia headliner and a homecoming co-main. Jake Wyllie and Youssef Dib topped the card at Fortitude Music Hall over 10 rounds at super lightweight, while former featherweight world champion Skye Nicolson met Urvashi Singh for the vacant WBC Inter-Continental title at 122 lbs.

Wyllie outpointed Dib by unanimous decision, 97–94, 98–92, 98–92. Dib boxed well early and nicked the first three rounds, but a warning for hitting from behind in the fourth and Wyllie’s steady pressure began to swing things. The fifth saw both land hard rights, and by the eighth Wyllie was bossing the action, backing Dib up and ripping the body. Dib rallied with a clean right late in the ninth, only for Wyllie to answer with a heavy body shot before the bell. The last round featured plenty of holding from Dib as Wyllie closed strong to seal it.

Nicolson made a statement in her return home, stopping Singh at 1:23 of the second round to claim the WBC Inter-Continental super bantamweight belt. The southpaw controlled the opener with jabs and right hooks, then strung together crisp three-punch combinations in the second. A left downstairs followed by a right up top turned Singh, and a follow-up flurry dropped her for the count.
