In an unexpected and surreal spectacle, boxing legend Mike Tyson returned to the ring at age 58, taking on social media star turned boxer Jake Paul in front of over 72,000 fans at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. After 19 years away from the sport, Tyson faced off against Paul in an 8-round event streamed on Netflix.

While Tyson showed flashes of his old self with powerful shots early on, it was Paul who controlled the fight with his jab and movement, ultimately earning a unanimous decision victory. The fight drew significant attention, with fans and pundits eagerly tuning in to see how the former heavyweight champion would fare against the younger, more active Paul. Despite the loss, Tyson received a standing ovation from the crowd as both fighters showed mutual respect at the final bell.

In the co-main event, Katie Taylor defended her multiple super lightweight world titles in a thrilling rematch against Amanda Serrano. The bout, which went the full ten rounds, was a close and hard-fought contest. Taylor, coming off a year-long layoff, had to dig deep to fend off the relentless aggression of Serrano. Both fighters had their moments, with Serrano hurting Taylor early on and Taylor rallying back in the later rounds. The undercard featured a clash between Mario "El Azteca" Barrios and Abel Ramos for the WBC Interim Welterweight title. The fight was a back-and-forth battle that ultimately ended in a split draw. Barrios had the early advantage, scoring a knockdown in the second round, but Ramos mounted a comeback, controlling the middle rounds and drawing blood from Barrios's nose. Neeraj Goyat showcased his skills against debutant Whindersson Nunes in a six-round bout. Goyat dominated the less experienced Nunes, outlanding him throughout the fight with sharp combinations. Despite showing heart, Nunes couldn’t keep up with Goyat's pace and accuracy, ultimately losing a unanimous decision.

Shadasia "The Sweet Terminator" Green claimed the vacant WBO World Super Middleweight title in a hard-fought battle against Melinda Watpool. Green controlled much of the fight with her relentless pressure, but Watpool had her moments, particularly in the later rounds. The judges were split in their decision, but Green’s consistent work throughout the fight earned her the victory.

In another closely contested bout, lightweight "Prince" Lucas Bahdi edged out Armando Casamonica in a ten-round fight. Casamonica came out strong in the early rounds, but Bahdi’s counterpunching and ability to adapt as the fight progressed gave him the edge. The scorecards reflected a tightly contested bout, with Bahdi winning by majority decision.

Featherweight Bruce "Chu Chu" Carrington showcased his power against Dana Coolwell, scoring two knockdowns en route to a dominant eight-round unanimous decision win. Carrington’s speed and precision were too much for Coolwell, who struggled to find his rhythm throughout the fight.
