The night, promoted by Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing and broadcasted over DAZN, also featured a co-main event between WBA Super Welterweight champion Terri Harper (14-1-2, 6 KOs) and former multi-title holder Cecilia “First Lady” Braekhus (37-2-1, 9 KOs).
The main event was a rollercoaster. Warrington started strong, rocking Wood in the early rounds and dominating the majority of the bout. However, in a dramatic turn of events in the seventh round, Wood, despite being behind on points, landed a barrage of punches that saw Warrington hit the canvas.
