Golden Boy Fight Night on DAZN makes a comeback at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, headlined by the former WBO world light flyweight champion Angel “Tito” Acosta (23-3, 22 KOs) from San Juan, Puerto Rico who takes on Angelina “Huracan” Cordova (17-0-1, 12 KOs).
Known for his aggressive style and powerful punches, Acosta is regarded as one of the hardest hitters in his division. He is trained by the globally acclaimed trainer, Joel Diaz, in Coachella Valley. This is Acosta’s first fight since delivering a stunning first-round knockout at Fantasy Springs in May 2022.

“We are working hard in the gym here in Indio, California with Joel Diaz. Cordova is a great fighter who comes from the front, I don’t know much about him but I’ll be ready for him,” said Angel Acosta.
“I am very happy and motivated for this fight because it puts us close to an opportunity for the world championship. On April 6 I will be ready to put on a show for Puerto Rico and my family.“
In the co-main event, Jorge “El Niño Dorado” Chavez (5-0, 4 KOs) participates in a six-round featherweight fight against Alberto “Pupo” Nieves (4-2-1, 2 KOs).
